Laboratory Equipments

This laboratory is used in order to carry out the experiments about production of metallic and ceramic materials. Material synthesis is performed at elevated temperatures (max.1600°C) with horizontal tube furnace (Protherm) in the laboratory. Atmosphere controlling is provided with the help of gas flow meter and the flange assembled to the furnace which enables surface treatments like chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. Gas analyzer in the laboratory provides to analyze the gases leaving the furnace. This laboratory is constructed in order to contribute to education by giving information about the production of metal and ceramic materials at undergraduate level, to perform research project at graduate level, to solve the problems about production of materials related to industry and find solution of these problems as well as to carry out projects
